Maîtriser les outils d'intelligence artificielle pour créer, promouvoir et monétiser
A practical two-hour master class examining how artificial intelligence can support cultural and creative work from the first idea to audience development and revenue generation. The session follows a creative project across three connected stages. It begins with creation: researching ideas, developing concepts, organizing projects, drafting and refining content, and reducing repetitive production work. It then moves into promotion: understanding audiences, adapting messages for different channels, repurposing content, strengthening communication, and improving the discoverability of cultural and creative works. The final stage focuses on monetization: packaging creative skills and content, developing clearer offers, exploring digital products and services, improving distribution, and identifying sustainable sources of income. The session will also examine the decisions that surround the use of AI: choosing tools according to a real need, providing useful instructions and context, verifying generated results, maintaining human oversight, and deciding when AI should—or should not—be used. The emphasis is not on chasing a long list of tools or replacing artists and creative professionals. It is on developing a practical framework for using AI while protecting originality, authorship, intellectual property, personal data, cultural identity, and the professional value of creative work. **Audience:** artists, writers, musicians, filmmakers, designers, photographers, content creators, cultural entrepreneurs, producers, publishers, promoters, media professionals, cultural organizations, and project leaders seeking practical ways to integrate AI into their activities. **Outcomes:** - Map potential uses of AI across creation, production, promotion, distribution, and monetization - Identify creative, communication, and administrative tasks that AI can support without replacing human direction - Understand how to structure an AI-assisted workflow for research, ideation, drafting, editing, and content adaptation - Develop more focused approaches to audience engagement, communication, and content discoverability - Explore ways to transform creative skills, services, and content into viable revenue opportunities - Evaluate AI-generated results for accuracy, quality, relevance, originality, and cultural appropriateness - Recognize risks related to copyright, attribution, consent, privacy, bias, misinformation, and cultural authenticity - Define realistic steps for adopting AI within the needs and resources of Burkina Faso’s cultural and creative industries **Format:** two hours, consisting of a one-hour master class followed by one hour of exchanges with participants for questions, discussion, and application to cultural and creative activities.
